I'm trying to remember what happened this week, but I'm sorta drawing blanks (go figure). SO I will give you all pregnant-to-be ladies a bit of advice. First and foremost, if you find you are pregnant, sign up at TheBump.com. You won't regret it! It has this nice little weekly checklist for you, it emails you every week to tell you how far along you are, what your baby is up to, and what size your baby is. And yes, I will admit it, I "borrowed" those images of fruit from TheBump.com. I'm too lazy to make up my own.
Another thing to REALLY consider is nutrition and exercise. These are crucial when you are pregnant! I'm still researching the nutrition part (Paul is helping me with it), but I do know that nutrition can really help your baby for the rest of their life! You could be making your baby smarter depending on what you are eating, or you could be giving your child a life of ADHD. Who knows?
As for exercise, there are a lot of things you can do. I researched what was best for me and found that doing stretches and taking daily walks was the best way to help me and Baby to stay healthy. However, there are a lot thing pregnant women can do besides walking. Make sure you make a schedule for yourself and do it! This habit should also help greatly after giving birth. ;)
I also REALLY like any advice anyone has to offer. I realize everyone is different so it's nice to get a feel for what others have experienced. For instance, I read this awesome post by Kristy Colley. I thought a lot of it was some good advice/opinion. :)
That's my advice for now. I'll tell you more about my experiences as the weeks progress.
One thing that DID happen at the end of this week was General Conference. I love listening to our Prophet's voice as well as talks that speak directly to moms and dads. After the first two sessions Mark and Melissa told us about their neighbor who was having a yard sale. She was selling some baby stuff. They showed us a picture of this really cute baby swing so we asked us to buy it for us. Being as awesome as they are, they bought it that day and then brought it to us that night. Thanks so much Melissa!
How Big is Baby?
Baby is as big as a Green Olive! About .9 inches.

BAHAHAHA Icarus!! Before you know it, you'll have a little kid who likes to play in boxes! :D
That is a cute swing--I'm glad we were able to get it for you.
I'm glad that you like getting advice, because people are going to start giving it to you all the time! I don't really have much advice, but if you have any questions I'd be happy to help you out. It's so true that everyone's different and there are a HUGE range of opinions on how to do everything pregnancy/birth/child related.
I LOVED walking while I was pregnant. I'm not a runner, but power walking helped me feel so healthy and energized pretty much my whole pregnancy. It also helped me not gain too much weight which, for some reason, I was really worried about. Food wise, though, i admit I am very weak. I think I ate pretty much whatever I wanted. :) Congrats on getting to week 12... now into the best trimester: #2!
